Newport News Park is one of the biggest municipal parks in the United States. It sits on over 8,000 acres of woodlands, meadows, wetlands, and other habitats, on the northern outskirts of Newport News, just east of Fort Eustis. The park provides sanctuary to an impressive array of wildlife, including beaver, deer, and otter.
